Gelatinized Black Maca 250 gr
Gelatinized Black Maca 250 gr

Description

Our gelatinized black maca is made from 100% black maca roots. It is a 4:1 product, which means that it takes 4 kg of raw maca to produce 1 kg of gelatinized maca. The gelatinization process removes all the starch content. The result is a powder easier to digest than raw Maca.

The 2 main advantages of using gelatinized maca are

- Easier digestion - because the starch is eliminated and digested better in the stomach.
- More concentrated nutrients - the absence of starch means that gelatinized maca has a higher concentration than raw Maca powders.
- Some activated nutrients - heating the Maca roots amplifies some nutrients, including metabolites and minerals

Is Gelatinized Maca right for you?

If you have a generally sensitive stomach or any other problem with digestion, or if you have difficulty digesting starch, then Gelatinized Maca is the best choice for you. The reason is simple; while raw Maca can cause temporary symptoms like bloating, gas or stomach upset (in about 5% of people), the gelatinized powder simply won't do it. If you do not have digestive problems we recommend our raw Maca PREMIUM (which contains a mixture of the different varieties of Maca in the same proportion).
