Description
The bark of the Cat's Claw.
It is rich in oxindole-pentacyclic alkaloids:
-mithrafiline
-isomitraphylline
-specifically
-pteropidine
-isopteropodine
-uncarina F.
The Uncaria tomentosa contained in SCHULER CLAW does not include oxindole-tetracyclic alkaloids such as rhincofiline and isorincofiline which reduce plant activity.
Quinovic acid glycosides, polyhydroxylated triterpenes and polyphenols have also been identified.
