GHF Alfalfa 100 Tablets 700 mg

Alfalfa is rich in mineral salts such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc; vitamins such as beta-carotene, vitamins B and C, essential amino acids and fibre. It contains saponins (2-3%), flavonoids and sterols. It has remineralising, toning and haemostatic properties, increases appetite and aids growth.

In China it is used to improve disorders of the digestive tract; in India it is used for poor digestion. North American Indians recommended alfalfa to remove jaundice and to liquefy clotting blood. Alfalfa is traditionally recommended as a tonic for indigestion, dyspepsia, anaemia, loss of appetite, and poor assimilation of food. Its saponin content reduces cholesterol and avoids the formation of atheroma plaques (which cause atherosclerosis).

Instructions for use: 2-3 tablets before meals, two or three times a day. Warnings: Due to its oestrogenic effects, alfalfa should not be used during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

Presentation: Pack of 100 tablets of 700 mg with 665 mg of alfalfa and 35 mg of microcrystalline cellulose.
